List Model Endpoints
GET https://api-us.tuna.ai/v1/models lists the serverless models currently available on Tuna. It is public, so it works without an API key.
curl https://api-us.tuna.ai/v1/models
The response is JSON with a data list. Each entry describes one model, including the id you pass as model in a chat completion, and its prices.
With the OpenAI SDKs, use the models list method:
for await (const model of client.models.list()) {
console.log(model.id);
}
for model in client.models.list():
print(model.id)
Model IDs
Tuna's model ids start with tuna-us/, followed by the model's maker and name. For example, tuna-us/moonshotai/kimi-k3-ultrafast. The tuna-us/ prefix provides a regional routing guarantee for GPU inference and KV caches in US data centers.
The code examples in these docs use tuna-us/example-lab/example-model-id. It is a placeholder in the same format and does not refer to a real model. Replace it with an id from the list.
Choosing a Model
The list only includes models that are running, so any id in it works in a request. Models differ in speed, quality, the longest reply they allow, and price. Each model has its own max_tokens limit, documented on the Models & Pricing page. Tuna lowers larger requests to that limit.
Model Deprecation
A model could be deprecated, meaning it is no longer available through the API. A deprecated model is removed from the models list, and requests that use its id fail with status 400. See Errors.
If your app depends on one model, check the list regularly and have a second model you can switch to.
